The room is updated and very clean. I liked the hot water comes out very quickly and very hot. Check-in is easy and staff is very nice. The bed is comfortable as well. If the bathroom equips with a ventilation fan would be better. Overall, nice stay for a night after long driving.

Order place, renovated, very nice and clean. Very good people to deal with we could not figure out how to bring the heat down, but that was no issue. I recommend this place to anybody who has a budget to stick to.

Happy Salmon was a great stopping point on our journey. It is very basic, but clean and well cared for. The host (who was very sweet) recommended Canoe beach which is within driving distance. What a beautiful beach! We will certainly return!

Excellent value for the money. Halfway point between Calgary and Vancouver, public beach nearby. If you are looking for an efficient stop over with clean beds and AC, and you aren't traveling with pets, the Happy Salmon is a great option!

For an overnight stay Motel Happy Salmon provided a clean comfortable room in a convenient location. The motel is newly renovated in a pleasant style. There is a terrific pub in Canoe Village at the lake, a short walk down the hill from the motel.

This was an unexpected delight - a motel we found in a search. Lots of room inside and recently renovated. Lots of seating outside including picnic tables to sit and soak up the view, plus they recommended a restaurant in town that was fab.
