I recently had the pleasure of staying at Salvador Mar Hotel and it for the price it was a great experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional hospitality and a warm welcome from the staff, the room facilities itself are basic and clean nothing too special. I recommend if you want a safe comfortable and affordable stay.

The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It was convenient for the Start of the Salvador Marathon '25, and the one young lady who was working in the breakfast room. Everything else was way below average. Breakfast was the worst ever. Two elevators for all guests. One was broken for the entire stay, and the other had to be available for all the guests from the first to the seventh floor. I walked up and down most of the time to my room on the sixth floor. The Internet was out for the entire stay. During the three nights I spent at this place, not once did I have my room cleaned. Granted, I did not want it, and in the process, I saved them money. On Monday morning, when I asked to check out one hour later, I received a flat "No", "we are fully booked!" One hour would put them in the poor house? The apathy from the workers was palpable. I couldn't believe what was happening, and I was stuck there because they had charged my credit card before I checked in on Friday. I am not planning to return to Salvador, Bahia. However, this imitation of a hotel is one place I will NOT be looking for as a hotel.

A cama era muito velha, colchão deveria estar no lixo, colchão de mendigo. Elevador precário, ar condicionado muito barulhento, nem dava pra ligar, tv não dava pra assistir, cheio de riscos, a Internet não funciona nos quartos. Papel higiênico parecia um jornal reciclado, não tinha shampoo e o sabonete de péssima qualidade. Café com pouquíssimas opções.

Péssimaxestsdia! Pior hotel que há fiquei na vida! Internet não funciona, café péssimo, só o básico e mesmo assim, a primeira turma que tomou café acabou com quem timha e não houve reposição, só tinha resto. As mesas sujas, sem funcionários para retirar os pratos sujos, tivemos que nós mesmo fazer a limpeza de uma mesa para sentar, funcionarios mal humorados e sem presteza! Não vá, vai se arrepender!

Hotel muito velho e precisando de reforma urgente, banheiro estava apenas com um lado do box, o outro parecia que foi quebrado e retiraram, logo o banheiro molhava todo quando tomava banho, além da cara de sujeira que tinha, o café tá manhã de péssima qualidade tbm, sem opções básicas como uma sanduicheira para esquentar o pão

Péssimo.

Pessimo. Se voce é uma mulher viajando sozinha, NAO RESERVE ESTE HOTEL. Eu tinha uma reserva para 3 noites, cheguei super tarde na cidade e só passei a primeira noite porque nao tinha outra opcao. Eu troquei de hotel imediatamente no outro dia de manhã. No fim, paguei por duas estadias diferentes no mesmo periodo, mas foi bem melhor que permanecer lá. O local é velho, sujo e sem qualquer tipo de manutenção. As fotos no app enganam bastante e o preço só é atrativo porque o local parece um cenario de filme de terror.
