"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Schlosswirt! Am Anfang unseres Aufenthalts stellten wir einen unangenehmen Geruch im Zimmer fest. Beim Ansprechen des Problems wurde uns unkompliziert direkt ein neues Zimmer zugewiesen und das Problem wurde direkt bearbeitet. Wir sind mit dem neuen Zimmer sehr zufrieden gewesen. "Extremely hot during visit and hotel has no air con. Therefore difficult to sleep as did not cool down at all. The hotel is on a main road just off the motorway. It’s 20km from berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. It has no real amenities close by except supermarkets and a gas station. We ate in Berchtesgaden as it had life and better option. The hotel is ok for an overnight stay."

"Check-In und Check-Out waren selbsterklärend :) die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, schöner Ausblick, Einkaufsmöglichkeit gleich um die Ecke. Mit dem Bus ist alles fix zu erreichen."

"Jorge was so welcoming. He was always available to offer a suggestion or direction The facility was VERY nicely appointed from the towels and sheets to the tissues. Every light was spot lighting a beautiful object in the room. The ligjts would come on magically as you entered and turned off just as effortlessly. The common area on the second floor was a wonderful addition and allowed for an open space to enjoy wine and a snack. "

"Exceeded all expectations. Room was super clean and had everything necessary for a good stay. My room had a mini kitchen which included silverware. It was very helpful to me able to store drinks and yogurt (breakfast) in the fridge. The room was large, and had a ton of shelving and room to get organized (not easy when traveling for awhile). They have a luggage room that you can use before and after your check in. The luggage room had a bathroom, and another small kitchen as well as some seating....

"This claims to be a luxury hotel. It is NOT. More like a 4 star at the low end. The main restaurant only had seating on a patio on a busy street....the actual restaurant was closed up. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The room was so outdated...and things just didn't work properly."

"We stayed here with our two young children (ages 2 and 5) and unfortunately our experience fell well short of what the property’s price point and reputation would suggest. From the first night, a strong and unpleasant odour emanated from the wash basin drain in our bathroom. We reported it immediately. Housekeeping attended the following morning and poured a chemical down the drain — the smell reduced briefly but returned in full by the second night. When we reported it again to the front desk...
