The Samaria Gorge, on the south side of Crete, is Europe's deepest canyon. The hike from the top of the gorge to the sea is about 18 km, and can be done in about four hours.

Focus on the journey. On our long drive to Vai (Europe's largest natural Palm grove) in Crete, we stopped countless times to take in the beauty of the wild White Mountains. If you travel to the island, give yourself time to explore the over 50 gorges in the region. The most famous, Samaria Gorge, is the longest gorge in Europe. The roads and trails are not easy to navigate, but it is a breathtaking journey. #crete #greece #europe #roadtrip

The spa was booked the whole time of our visit is what we were told. So, we didn't get that opportunity. The pool was well kept, a little chilly to sit outside, though. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The property was nice and very well kept. The staff at the front desk were not very kind except for one customer relations woman who was very helpful and lovely. I think her name was Marialena. Det var et godt hotel med god rengøring og god mad. Det ville være dejligt, hvis der var en opvarmet pool, da bølgerne i havet var så store, mens vi var der, at vi ikke kunne være på stranden, og vandet i poolen var meget koldt. Meget venligt personale.

Photos are much nicer than the real scenery around the pool. No ventilation for cooking facilities. It was ok but not fantastic.
