"I didn’t have hot water to shower which was a big bummer. I told it to the staff but all they could say was- yes it’s not easy. Which was disappointing. There is only hot water if you shower before 5pm. Also the doorman in the entrance of the property was super rude and made me feel really uncomfortable multiple times . I’m solo traveling and those kind of thing really ruins my feeling. He was Haitian and he talked to me rude and loud voice. Got upset every time I knocked on the door to enter. Besides him- the rest of the staff were amazing and professionals. "

"This is a really unique place to stay. Our room had these huge windows that opened up to the beach. The staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help us and see that we had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We would recommend The Palm Bay Club Lodge to anyone who wants the best experience in the Dominican Republic. We definitely will be back. "

"The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, utensils. It was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was great although it didn’t extend outside of our room. Ocean view was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, not perfect English but definitely enough to get by. "

"The room was clean and the TV did have cable, albeit I did have problems with the remote controls, in the beginning, I was able to flip through most of the channels. The AC worked fine, and while the shower didn’t have any hot water, in the morning, when I was about to go to the shower, the warm water came on, albeit it only lasted for about 10 minutes. Only negative was the check in, due to the fact that the assistant didn’t bring an extra towel plus I had to get the remote controls downstrairs."
