The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the pool was serene, and the treehouse we stayed in immersed us in nature yet had surprising comforts like an excellent hot water shower. We particularly enjoyed birding in the morning with an expert guide and a horseback ride to see Mayan ruins. "

So get stuff if u r cooking No coffee pot filter or paper towels. BYO. Do not be afraid of all the ruckus on the street as it does calm down and get quiet at night."

"The property is super clean, well maintained and very quiet. We did not hear anyone from our room. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and super polite. It was great sitting at the pool at night and having a night cap with a cigar. The location is also very good, with the town at the bottom of the hill. The stay was far nicer than in San Pedro although it cost less."
