"The location is indeed an hour away from the airport, so keep in mind there will be several toll houses to pay when coming and going. The property never has hot water. Be ready for bug bites, which I believe to be spider bites. The breakfast and staff are great, but cleanliness isn't there. The rooms are never cleaned they only come in and make the beds and there is no sweeping or mopping or hardly take the trash out which is a factor that might contribute to the amount of spiders in the room....
"I never write a review but this hotel needed one. The place was not well managed. The room was dirty, mold in the bathroom, and the soap in the shower did not work. The main problem is that I decided to take a weekend of rest at this place. Since we got there it had loud music the entire time, until 2:00am. We have three little kids and they couldn’t even fall asleep. After we complained at 11:00pm telling them the music is blasting and people are trying to sleep, they barely even turned it...
"Me esperaba más de un hotel que cobra 1.1 MM la noche. La habitación no es acorde al precio. Parece mas habitación de un Motel que de un hotel SPA. Paredes sucias, piso deteriorado, muebles deteriorados y del baño sale olor a alcantarilla. Pedí un corte de carne que tampoco es acorde a lo que deberia ser, por lo que también son precios no acordes! "

"My stay at the Landmark boutique hotel was a tale of two halves: In the first half, there were a couple issues regarding service and amenities in the room that caused some friction. However, after bringing up concerns with management they were very proactive, took feedback well, and ensure the rest of our stay was pleasant.
Outside of this experience, the amenities and hotel are beautiful. It's elegant, chic, and the rooms are the kind of rooms you want to spend time in even if Medellin's beauty beckons.
The food choices in the hotel (run by third parties) are ok. We preferred Smash since it had better service and healthier food. However, there are plenty of great food choices in a 5-minute radius. Also, it is fairly central to many of Medellin's sights and the area around it is fairly quiet versus other areas in El Poblado.
Highly recommend this for couples or solo travelers looking to stay in a comfortable, stylish place, with a diligent team. "
