Wonderful Family Trip!

Fantastic multi-generational adventure! Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, arranging taxis and horse riding and more! Lovely historic property with tons of space and even a playground for the kids - they loved it! Beautiful, warm, enchanting place. Can’t wait to return!

This is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s a 300 year old Spanish hacienda. Beautiful. Well maintained grounds. Extremely helpful staff. Wonderful, daily breakfast included. All of this said, this is an old building. Do not expect modern amenities like an in room tv, coffee maker or fridge. Do expect an in room wood burning fireplace that the staff lights for you every night. Do expect a very very cool, old bar. Do not miss their opening night drink including a 3 song performance by an indigenous band. Do expect an excellent in house restaurant with not crazy prices. I just really, really love this place!

We loved the every night's get-together at the Horse Bar with live music and drinks. Very cosy with a fire place. I did a 2-hours trail ride which was fun. The horses were in excellent condition. I did not like that they kept the saddle on the horse back the entire day while waiting for riders. Other than that everything was a wonderful experience.

Fantastic place. A spot of tranquility in the middle of the wonderful chaos that Ecuador and Otavalo can be. Very attentive and helpful staff. Beautiful hacienda - you can feel the history of the place everywhere.
