"Absolutely no complaints! The hotel is a short walk to downtown. It is directly on SJDS beach. It has a well maintained pool which was awesome for the kids. The rooms were small but fine. We weren’t in them much anyway. They serve delicious classic Nica breakfast with fresh fruit and juice. Can’t beat it! The owner is absolutely wonderful and accommodating and helped us call taxis and even made my kids a special pancake breakfast one morning. Incredible views of the mountains and beach. Sunsets from the balcony were unreal. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"So upon arrival to Nuestra Casa I was very displeased. The pool was visibly dirty as well as the kitchen area. I spoke with a manager at their sister hotel Casa Oro and they were very accommodating and switched my room. My stay at Ana Lucia was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"Casa Happy Life is a good hostel with very helpful and pleasant owners. The main thing that lets it down compared with other similar hostels is that it only has one toilet/shower for three rooms with upto 10 people. At many times on our first day, the bathroom was always occupied. We did have two power cuts and ran out of gas too during our two night stay so not great in that respect either. "

"Total lies on the website regarding this location. There are no room fridges or A/C. Totally misleading and when contacted no one speaks English or will help. We only stayed for a couple of nights because of being so misled and no refund was offered. In fact there reply was, hope to see you again. Would not recommend at all."

"Great stay at this property. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and the staff were nice. The included breakfast was so tasty and the restaurant at night had a fun atmosphere and great menu. Its perfectly located in town with anything you need justvsteps away. We had a rental car and they showed us where to street park and everything felt safe. Would stay here again!"
