Aquarius was descent.The staff were very pleasant n helpful..The hotel lobby is very updated.i just feel like the rooms could use a little more updating..I had a beautiful beach n pool view..I wished there were more stuff to do like tours n stuff...But my stay was pleasant.

Overall it was a great bang for the buck. Use of embassy suites amenities made it worth booking with Aquarius. The rooms need some updating and/or renovation, and the appliances as well (my room had a broken dryer), however they have everything you need and are very spacious. I would stay here again for economic savings and because the use of amenities. There’s a lot to suggest to make it better but my family and I had a great time here so I give them grace.

Loved the private beach. Poolside bar was nice (good food and drinks). The pool itself was pretty cloudy water, so we mostly stuck to the ocean. It seems like they're doing quite a bit of remodeling to the rooms which were already pretty nice and quite spacious. The hallways don't smell great, but whatever.

Waited in the checkin line for 1:45 on a Friday evening (only one person working the desk, with a line going almost outside). With a hungry and tired wife and baby that set the stay off to a very poor start. It was ok after that. Most of the staff were nice, and the rooms are a great size and setup with their own kitchens and living rooms apart from the bedroom. Decent pool and ok beach.

You walk in andthe hotel lobby is very nice. You get on the elevator and you go to your floor and it’s a different story. The hotel is not very well well-maintained. They need to redo their carpet. The pool and the beach access was very convenient. A family would have a good time using the amenities at this hotel, but lower your expectations for the hotel room.

We had a great time with our grandkids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a few downers. If the reservation is for a 1 bedroom and 4 guests, there should be pillows and sheets for all. Also towels. The rooms need a little tender loving care. Maybe new furniture, the beds are hard. Some of us are working all year and on our free time want to rest, but those beds are a little hard. The air was not working good. Besides that it's a nice place

The property needs quite a bit of TLC and updating. The hallway and room carpets were very old and had a noticeable musty odor. Overall, the property has potential, but significant updates and improvements are needed. Worse bedroom pillows as well! On the positive side, the pool was nice, and the hotel was conveniently located near several restaurants.

We arrived and discovered that each of the full size beds sunk in the middle. We informed the staff and they were able to change us to another room. They did some repairs but my wife and I could not sleep in the same bed the whole week due to this issue. Great location and great potential but needs some work

So the room was great , peaceful not noisy at all. The first impression is that more staff is needed in the front. The poor man needs a bonus ($) or something. He handled check ins for hours and the line was to the door. He did it all solo! Our family loved the d Stay over all. Our only complaint is that there were no beach towels available the first night and we had to go all the way back to the same front desk young man to request for towels as well. I was also charged double by hotel and my expedia. That double charging cost Is a total inconvenience. Now we are back in the States trying to reach them and no response! I've been calling Aquarius all day to rectify and no one answers (probably because they've got one staff member doing it all).

I’ll start out by saying that the hotel itself is in a nice location. They literally share the space with the embassy suites (same pools). However, the service is completely different. I really don’t care about the physical room because I was there for the pool and beach, both were nice. On our first day we arrived around 5pm for check in and wanted to enjoy the pool, we asked for towels and supposedly they were in the dryer. We returned at 7pm and the concierge (male), said they didn’t have any, to come back tomorrow. He was smirking as he said it. Why not tell us to use the room towels for now, and replace them? The next morning we were able to get them. The towels themselves were paper thin and tiny in comparison to the adjacent hotel. The garbage from the room was not thrown out for two days (our stay). Rooms were not cleaned, no new towels, we would see the cleaners in the hallways socializing, but rooms were not touched. Now, I’ve been trying to get my deposit ($150) 11 business days later and there is no way of contacting them. Sadly, I really liked the location and even thought of recommending them to family since we have family in the area, but they’ve acted too messy and I wouldn’t want anyone to deal with that.

From reading the reviews I knew it was older hotel. I read about the staff and that was true. One person in particular always seem rude and like we were annoying him just with our presence. There was two roaches in our room. We also kept asking for toilet paper for a family of 4 we were given 2 rolls the second one we had to ask. There was no room service and had to wash our own towels. We had a suite so we were able to do that. My kids slept on the sofa bed and I also had to ask for blankets and pillows to set it up. Which is fine but usually those are already provided in the room. We pretty much had to ask for everything and it took them a while to get it for us. The pool is big and the time we did spend at the hotel we enjoyed the pool. The beach area is small. We didn’t plant to spend time in our hotel because we did a lot of exploring the island but we will never stay at this hotel again. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The beds were HORRENDOUS and the carpeting was filthy, in the room as well as the hall. The bed was the least comfortable bed I have ever stayed in. Despite there being 3 people on the reservation, we got 2 pillows, and 2 towels and absolutely zero bedding for the sofa bed which is the only place a third person could sleep. It took me asking 4 times to finally get extra towels ( for a 6 night stay) and a pillow for my daughter. The pillows are also horrible. The housekeeping staff was extremely helpful when they would come by the room but were extremely rude when they assumed I didn’t speak Spanish and couldn’t understand them at the front desk. I am only giving this place 2 stars because of the pool, where we spent 70% of the time at the hotel. The pool is awesome. While you have to pay for parking, the machine works when it wants to, we had to get new parking passes on 4 different occasions because it wouldn’t scan our cards. They say there is someone at the desk 24 hours, and we even asked because we had an extremely early check out due to a 5am flight. Low and behold, no one was there and you have to check out because you have to return towel and beach access cards that carry heavy fees if you don’t. All in all, I wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Our stay was disappointing, primarily due to poor housekeeping and unhelpful front desk service. Our room was only serviced once after we requested it on day two, and even then, only the bed sheets were changed. Towels, toiletries, trash removal, and vacuuming were not provided. On day three, we again requested these items from the front desk, but despite assurances that everything would be taken care of, nothing was done. Our friends in room 2567 received no housekeeping service at all during their stay. The elevators were also out of service for part of one day, with no signs posted. When we asked the front desk about it, we received a rude response and were simply told to use the stairs. The resort and room also appeared dated and poorly maintained. There was heavy condensation on the sliding doors, chipped paint—especially in the bathroom—significant calcium buildup on the faucets, and difficult-to-operate window shades. The shade handle broke the first night, forcing us to use a chair to keep the curtain closed at night. Most of the staff were friendly, with the exception of one male front desk employee. I do not know his name because he was easily identifiable as the tall man who wears glasses. He was consistently unfriendly and dismissive, including when I asked why housekeeping had not serviced my room. His rude response and unprofessionalism were especially disappointing for someone working the front desk… the first point of contact for the hotel to its guests.

Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Check-in took approximately 1.5 hours, and after traveling with children, the last thing we expected was such a long and disorganized process. We were not given wristbands or properly informed about parking procedures. Later, when we couldn’t exit the parking area, we discovered the front desk had never validated our parking or explained that it needed to be done. The property itself is very outdated and does not look or feel like what we expected based on the listing. Our room and bathroom were not as clean as they should have been, and the overall condition of the hotel needs serious attention. The elevator was also concerning and added to the uncomfortable experience. Getting basic necessities was unnecessarily difficult. We had issues obtaining clean towels and were told about a towel-exchange policy that was extremely inconvenient for a family staying several days. The customer service was another major disappointment. Instead of feeling welcomed or helped when we had questions or problems, we often felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. For a family vacation, these repeated issues really affected our experience. Puerto Rico was amazing and we had a wonderful time exploring the island, but unfortunately, this property was easily the most disappointing part of our trip. I would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness, maintenance, organization
