The staff there are super friendly. We booked the wrong date, but they tried the best to accommodate us. They could make it better (profitable) if bathrooms are renovated/redone. Anyway, the price reflects the quality, it is friendly to shoestring travellers.
Nice place to stay. Convenient location in centro SMA. Room was clean and everything worked. I experienced a slight roof leak with the heavy rains and was promptly moved to another room when requested. I ate at the restaurant three times. Food was good as was the service. Would stay here again.
Little cute hotel for our girls trip to San Miguel de Allende. The reviews were right. Its a cozy and clean space. Their rooftop restaurant, the views and the staff service were the highlights for us. We had a nice sleep and enjoyed our stay. I recomend to eat at the restaurant and to select this property for your stay in SMDA.
Nice clean comfortable room ... could use coffee maker 😀

Loved the restaurant and the deck. The beds were really uncomfortable in the first room we had but they gave us another room with better beds the 2nd night.
This is a wonderful place to stay right in zone central in San Miguel de Allende. The staff and owner and restaurant people are all very kind and helpful. The service is excellentb The beds are comfortable, shower water is hot. The linens are clean and crisp. I came in early from a redeye flight and they let me check in early so I could get some sleep. This is my go to place now coming to San Miguel.
It was a cute hotel with a good view from the rooftop patio. It’s a bit noisy depending on who’s there - the rooms all have ‘windows’ that open into the hallways so there’s a lot of echo. We were on the 3rd floor so maybe louder?
It was cute and comfortable.
Basic clean accommodations. Easy check-in and out. Very safe area and short three block walk to the Jardín and all that SMA offers. Nice view from the comfy rooftop patio. No a/c but had a ceiling fan and stand fan so the room temperature was fine. No tv. Perfect choice for the budget-conscious traveler.

The staff was very friendly. The room was cleaned daily. The water took a minute or two to warm in temperature, but it stayed the correct temperature after you entered the shower. My first room did not have an air conditioner - only a ceiling and floor fan. I was moved to another room with an air conditioner. The temperatures in San Miguel de Allende are pretty cool throughout the day, so having the fans were not a major problem. I just preferred having the option to use an air conditioner. I liked the location of the hotel. I was walking distance from most restaurants and activities. I would consider returning to this hotel during future visits to San Miguel de Allende.
I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it quite a lot. We were not very far from el jardín. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a man, who honestly had the perfect voice for being a host, he gave me a rundown of the place and even walked us up to our room. My room came with a ceiling fan and a little standing fan which was nice. There is a restaurant inside that serves breakfast and brunch which I did not try, but it smelled good each day. They have very cheap rates in terms of being able to buy a range of beverages at their front desk. Which water, for example, was $35 pesos which I think was quite good for the area. A word of caution is that the street it branches off of is somewhat steep compared to other areas, so if you have mobility issues and do not want to take a taxi or anything to get there, you might not want to book. The hotel itself does have plenty of ramps though, from the moment you walk in all the way to the rooms.
