La ubicación es totalmente fuera del centro, lo cual, para mí tuvo muchas ventajas. Muy buena atención y comunicación. Está genial que tienen asadores y puedes asar tu carne; también tienen espacio para hacer fogatas y ellos mismos te preparan todo. Cuenta con estacionamiento propio y con seguridad. Súper recomendable!

Peaceful and relaxing. On edge of town in quiet neighborhood, next to lake. The proprietor Carlos speaks fluent English which was very helpful for a gringo on his first week in Mexico. The one potential downside, which I actually learned to see as a positive, is it takes 10-15 minutes over very slow bumpy cobblestone streets to reach the property. Take a kayak out on the lake!

Peaceful friendly lake view place

Our stay was absolutely great. Very peaceful site with views to the lake. So away from any noise (though every now and then a train passes by, which actually gives it a little more charming). The cabins are fully equipped (big fridge, microwave, range, silverware and other items), with great wifi, screen TV with cable, hot water, etc. Accommodations were fantastic, free parking, you can kayak at the lake, there many grills where you can cook on the outside. And it is close to downtown San Miguel (about 15 mins).

It’s far from town, market, fast food. It’s quiet except for train with loud whistle at midnight, close to tracks.Cobblestone zigzag streets to get there. Taxi driver couldn’t find it without phone call. Need Google map to find the place. + dry cerial & milk for breakfast.
