Enjoyable

We spent 8 nights in this Hostel.The rooms are comfortable with good beds and pillows. There is a bar fridge in the room and a communal kitchen with coffee and teas included. The cleanliness of the rooms and courtyard is excellent. There is a small communal clothes horse for drying or you can use the hotel laundry service. Short term luggage storage included. An easy 5min walk to the bus station 8min to the top of the main street downtown, and a local grocery store around the corner. The Signora of the hostel has a friendly smile for her guests.

Hostal muito confortável e limpo. O dono/gerente muito prestativo, criou o nosso planejamento de passeios que ficou incrível. O translado entre o aeroporto e o hostal foi feito pelo gerente que já nos foi dando uma aula sobre a cultura local.

Hostal com tudo o que se precisa para curtir o Atacama. Antonio, o proprietário, é um excelente concierge! Arrumou todos os nossos passeios e tudo funcionou perfeito! As bicicletas do hostal são excelente! 10 minutos do inicio da Caracoles.

It was a very comfortable stay for a night after a long drive. The room and the garden was very clean. She, probably owner but i'm not sure since my Spanish is not at that level, was very helpful.

I expected more based on past reviews

I have expected more based on past reviews and the rate. The hotel is very basic. The biggest advantage is that it is very clean. The ladies who clean the facility do an excellent job. However, there are several issues. The first one is the fact that the room gets very hot in the afternoon into late night. The roof of the building has little to no thermal insullation. My room had no window. So, even though I kept my door open during the evening when I was there, it was so hot during the first part of the night that it was not easy to sleep in it. Also, there is a problem with the wifi connection. It works fine when it does work but often, it just quits. This happens in the middle of the day, early in the evening and late at night. One can never predict. To compound the problem, not always a staff person is in the office and so sometimes it takes hours before someone shows up to whom one can ask to reset the router. On my last day of stay, there was nobody in the office between the time I woke up, which was about 7 until past 9AM. This is not the first time. Lastly, at least two times during my stay there was no running water.

Very friendly staff, but we paid a lot, I thought, for this normal room. Owner is very nice and we were allowed to park our car overnight in the single space he has available for guest parking.

Proche de la gare des bus à 10 mn à pied du centre

Accueil agréable. Chambre propre. Vêtements lavés par l hôtel en 2h de temps. Cour intérieur agréable. Excursions proposés. Pas de television mais bonne connection internet.Environnement mediocre mais securitaire et du coup rapport qualité prix un peu cher.

Familiar, limpio y cómodo.

Muy buen servicio, Alejandra la chica que se ocupa de la limpieza es encantadora y muy servicial. Las camas son cómodas y el lugar es muy tranquilo, tienen pájaros que se escuchan desde la habitación y te trasladan al paraíso. La atención por parte de Toño también fue excelente, nos gestionó las excursiones y en todo momento estuvo pendiente de todo e incluso tuve un problema con una excursión y llamó a la agencia para quejarse por mi. La verdad es que estuvimos muy contentos con el servicio y la calidad humana del personal, que es de agradecer.

Hotel acolhedor e agradável.

Muito boa! Pessoal (Arnaldo) muito atencioso e simpático. Contratamos o transfer de Calama - San Pedro pelo hotel e deu tudo certinho. Esse hostel na verdade é uma pensão tudo muito simples, como tudo na cidade, mas é limpinho, arejado e serviu nossas necessidades. Fica um pouco longe do centro. Mas pela cordialidade do anfitrião valeu a pena. Super recomendo.

Lovely quiet place outside of town

Location outside town centre so was quiet and peaceful. Owners very welcoming and friendly but need Spanish to communicate and not always around at reception as out and about maintaining the place. Room was very comfortable nice bed an bedding, with lots of space including desk and 2 chairs, plus hot shower (solar heated but with back up gas - make sure you either have shower during day or ask how to switch on the gas). Had a heater in the room too for cold nights. Also provide a little kitchenette near reception with kettle and microwave and complementary hot drinks. Quite expensive but standard for San Pedro if want private ensuite room.

Hostel agradável

Estrutura simples, quartos confortáveis dentro do básico (tem frigobar, mas não tem TV). Escolhi o individual com banheiro e estava sempre limpo e arrumado, a administradora sempre solícita e simpática e a decoração é fofa. Somente o chuveiro deixou a desejar. Era inverno e ele só funcionava nos extremos: muito frio/gelado ou muito quente/queimando a pele. Pedimos que a administração fizesse a regulação da calefação, mas não adiantou. Ele é um pouco mais distante do centrinho de San Pedro, mas nada terrível...Uns 8 minutos andando calmamente.

Tranquilo y muy limpio. Solo más calefaccion para

El hostal es nuevo, muy acogedor y nos recibieron muy bien. Servicio de limpieza excelente. Como sugerencia-la cual se la comentamos personalmente al administrador- es que falta más calefacción en las habitaciones, o disponer de frazadas adicionales ya que al menos en esta época hace mucho frío una vez que se entra el sol. Lugar tranquilo, bien ubicado ya que no está en el centro, pero tampoco tan alejado.

Comfortable stay

Our one night stay here was nice and comfortable. The staff did not speak English but did their best to help us with all we need. Located towards the outskirt of town it's about 20 min walk from downtown, it's quieter than the downtown. The hostal kitchen provided opportunities for self cooking
