"Nice lodging with hot breakfast daily or bagged breakfast prepared if going on an early excursion. Comfortable lounge area , nice pool and friendly staff. We got a discounted tour rate with Atacama Expeditions for being Vicuna Lodge guests."
"Brilliantly located in the center of the town with easy access to restaurants, shops and tourist agencies. The hotel is very well appointed; the thought shows in the little touches that go into the rooms and public areas - small sit-outs, resort-style baths, ample lighting, fans and storage, offer of extra towels, free bottles, 24 hours tea/coffee and water... you have a lovely, cozy experience.
They were very responsive in arranging my transport and to other requests. Definitely a place to be...
"Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "
