"Hotel Kimal is a fabulous place as a relaxing and convenient base for your San Pedro de Atacama adventures! The staff are friendly and helpful and the courtyard and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Someone put a lot of thought and care into building and maintaining this hotel. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a marvelous and varied buffet of fresh breads and fruit, yogurt and toppings, and made to order eggs. The restaurant is excellent! "
"Brilliant property in the centre. Their parking is just opposite the reception entrance, you just need to jump out and ask them to open the gate. Very tight parking in there, but doable. Amazing location, friendly staff, nice rooms, and restaurant on site is most cost effective and one of the nicest in the town. "

Is a charming property but is quite old, don’t expect luxury or even high comfort (to an American standard), but to be fair, is quiet good compared with other hotels in the area. "The place is amazing. The host is great. The location is right around the corner from the main street in town. Atacama is almost an hour away from the airport so make sure you account for that time. There is no other choice, all activities are in Atacama, not sure why the airport is located 60 km out. "
