"The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The spa is huge and well-appointed. Only complaint is regarding food. We arrived very hungry. The only option for food was the cafe until the restaurant opened for dinner at 5pm. I ordered an item and was told "we're out." I chose another item, and again was told "sorry, don't have any." Instead of leading with that information when I went to the counter to order, I had to play a stupid game of "what do you have?" Wound up with over-priced chips and salsa. Next morning's breakfast was awful. Cold eggs and hashbrowns. Requested hot food and was given the same plate slightly warmed. The plate was hotter than the food. Given the price for a stay and the fact that guests are a captive audience, the food should be absolutely on point."

"The Tamaya Resort is an amazing oasis away from the troubles of life. It is nestled in the Bosque and secluded from the rest of the world. The amenities are incredible and worth the resort fee: free bikes and trails to ride, three pools, which are designated for different ages, and a variety of other family fun activities. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are too. The two restaurants offer a nice mix between more standard dining and a relaxed lounge atmosphere. It was worth every penny!"

"I was impressed by how clean it was. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows (4 of them) were just what I liked. TV was bigger than most I have had. Enjoyed my stay there very much. Breakfast was also better than expected."
