Then when we addressed it with Hotels.com they told them that we had a comparable room and only offered $20 refund ( when the difference in price was about $80). And the room didn’t have a separate sitting area and pull out bed. It was a clean hotel though, close to the airport with a shuttle, and attached to a large mall (convenient for food/shopping). Good place to stay for the night before flying out of SJO. "

"The hotel is run down. The ice machine on my floor wasn’t working for the two days. One elevator was out of order today. The material on the lighting fixtures were falling off of some of them. The walls in my room were marked up. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the staff were friendly and professional. "
