"The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We asked about recommendations for activities and they were thorough in explaining everything. The communication was amazing and they were very nice to my son, offering him popsicles. The location was great, not too far from everything, but also not in the middle of the tourist areas, a nice balance. We will stay here's in the future for sure. The bartender on the first floor was very nice and talkative and treated all guests with care. They go the extra mile for service. We had a early flight and they booked us a taxi and made us all breakfast bags. Will stay here again."

"I loved the hotel decor! And the hotel staff were great! Check-in/check-out was a breeze. Super helpful and knowlegeable staff. The room was a bit small but cozy, clean and a very comfy bed. There is minimal area to store/hang clothing. There was a mini safe in the room. The bar fridge included water and cream for coffee/tea which was provided at no additioal charge. The patio area is quite lovely with a variety of sitting areas, umbrellas and misters. The restaurant staff was great but the food is very pricey and not fabulous. This hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants, shops, farmacias. It was about a $15 EU cab fare from the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station to the hotel."

"Property is an older but well maintained building. Rooms are large and bathrooms are renovated. Staff is very helpful and polite. Only problem is that the air conditioning system wasn't adequate during the very hot August days and nights. Otherwise, a fine hotel."
