"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "Clean room and great facilities. Right next to the airport terminals in Manchester. We walked there when we arrived from Terminal 2 and got the airport shuttle back to the terminal then next morning and we were surprised we had to pay £3.95 per person for this… For the average nightly cost it could have been included in the stay… They also wanted to charge us £30 for early check-in when our room was ready and I really don’t understand this in a 4 star hotel (I get it if it was a cheap & cheerful budget stay). Lovely facilities but feel like they wanted to make extra money out of you. Staff were lovely though and we had room service which was delicious and quick. The rooms have baths too as we travelled with a 10 month old which was very handy!"
