"Clean room and great facilities. Right next to the airport terminals in Manchester. We walked there when we arrived from Terminal 2 and got the airport shuttle back to the terminal then next morning and we were surprised we had to pay £3.95 per person for this… For the average nightly cost it could have been included in the stay… They also wanted to charge us £30 for early check-in when our room was ready and I really don’t understand this in a 4 star hotel (I get it if it was a cheap & cheerful budget stay). Lovely facilities but feel like they wanted to make extra money out of you. Staff were lovely though and we had room service which was delicious and quick. The rooms have baths too as we travelled with a 10 month old which was very handy!"

"Just stayed as a bed for the night to catch an early morning flight. Didn't use any of the amenities other than in my room. The hotel was quiet. Room had all I needed for an 8 hour stay."

"I often stay here when I'm travelling from Manchester airport. Easy check in and check out. Fabulous Italian restaurant with lovely food, central bar, which does get busy, really comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. The buffet breakfast is OK at best. We visited around 9.15am this time - maybe the food had been standing a while and some of the containers were empty. Also, not a great selection of bread but as I said, it's OK, it's food"

"Lovely clean room,comfortable bed,and hot drinks facility. Bar had good selection of drinks and staff very helpful. Breakfast bar good variety and quality of food. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. At time of our visit weather hot and outside seating limited,but we were lucky, Overall an excellent visit and convenient to the city - a 10 to15 minute walk to the clock gate."

"I stayed at Crowne Plaza Chester for the races and found it to be a bit of a mixed experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring Chester. The restaurant was lovely, and the breakfast was particularly good with a great selection of food. The reception areas and public toilets were also clean, well-presented, and gave a good first impression. Unfortunately, the rooms let the hotel down. They are in need of modernisation, with dated furniture and décor that feels tired compared to the rest of the property. Some of the plug sockets in the room didn't work, which was frustrating, and the shower pressure was very weak, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. Overall, the hotel benefits from a fantastic location, good food, and well-maintained public areas, but the rooms would greatly benefit from refurbishment and some attention to maintenance issues."

"Room was filthy and smelt like cigarette smoke, I got moved to a better room after complaining. The breakfast was also bad and the coffee machine wasn’t working on the second day. A budget hotel but without the budget price."
