"Fasano Angra dos Reis delivers on the luxury experience. The rooms are excellent and the facilities - sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools are top tier. The one area that falls short: food options. For a resort this remote (and this caliber), two restaurants and a café isn’t enough. The main restaurant is Italian and genuinely good, but there’s no variety, minimal healthy or gluten-free alternatives, and given the location, you’re not really leaving the property for meals. "The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome."
