Very outdated and old though we were told our room was last one left to be worked on. Since we were there for just one night we could easily overlook the problems due to Carmen’s friendliness and kind heart.

It was clean but old and run down . I had the toilet overflow so they gave me a different room . They were very friendly and the location was a10$ Uber ride to downtown Sanford . It’s not the greatest but it was cheap and clean . Location was good across the street are a few bars with in walking

This place is for those on a tight budget. Carmen's hospitality greatly helped the experience. Once they improve the hot water heater the experience will be much better.

Close to airport but shady.

This was super close to the airport, but it's really shady. The tile floors were nasty, there's no light in the shower, no knob on the bathroom door and the front door is not secure. This would be an ideal location to stay if they were to renovate.

Didn’t even stay overnight…not sure why this is listed on Expedia…it’s not clean, broken pieces of infrastructure, bad lighting, didn’t feel safe…no refund (oh well). Carmen was nice though. I just wish the place was nice! Sorry Carmen! 😔💛

Room was disgusting, rotten food left from last guest in microwave. Shower had shaved hair in it and water barely came out. Parking lot had rotten broken eggs every where. Very disappointed and would never stay again

Worst night’s stay ever

The Motel was pathetic. The AC did not work. The bathroom was so dirty that one couldn’t even enter it. There were roaches everywhere. I believe there might even be bed bugs in the mattress. I placed my trust in hotels.com to review the location before offering them to customers. But if hotels.com would have such hotels listed on it’s website then I am seriously reconsidering my decision to use hotels.com for any future bookings.

The prics attracked me to the hotel. Booked a room thinking I could check in after a late night flight. The office was closed and no one would come to the door. So I was out the cost of the room, as they would not refun it.

Staff wouldnt provide toilet paper said i needed to supply my own ended up kicking me out because staff didnt like my tone about wanting toilet paper and questioning them about the fact there a hotel how can you not supply toilet paper. Also refused to refund my money back for the days i didnt stay n kept my 100$ cash deposit

Unprofessional

When I arrived I was told I did not have a reservation. I showed the woman at the desk my confirmation email. She said there were no rooms available. She was extremely rude. I spoke to someone on the chat at hotels dot com who let me know that he would have to speak to someone at the hotel to find out what happened before I could get a refund. I warned him that they do not answer their phone as I had tried to call many times. I am assuming they have still not been able to reach anyone as I haven’t heard back yet and have not been refunded my money.

This place was not what I expected from advertised website. The bed had a new bed plastic covering and a sheet over it. I was slipping of the bed. The facilitator brought in a futon bed that was hard in the middle, not possible to sleep. The facilitator asked if I wanted a sheet as if they shouldn't offer it. No shampoo just a bar soap. Tv was new but not setup to use. The shower was dark no lighting and the shower floor had sharp plaster that I had to push down the drain. Oh and the ac was so loud that I could not hear the tv. If I could give less then one star I would.

Booking photos of the property are extremely misleading. The lobby is cluttered, full of junk, poorly lit and only maintained during checking and checkout. Because the property is only run by one person you must call Carmen when we arrived and waited 30 minutes to start checking in and because they do not utilize technology, it took an additional 30 minutes to complete checking in. Because of all of the clutter and disorganization we were seeing, we asked if we could see the room before we completed checking. Carmen explained the room is kept very clean and that it wouldn’t matter, because we would be charged for the room anyways. Carmen did stop to show us the room. It did look very clean with newer furniture, but the bathroom looked liked worn out and in need of major upgrades. Since the room was clean, we were going to be charged for the room anyways and were only staying one night, we reluctantly agreed to stay. Additionally, the motel requested that we pay the $100 deposit in cash, so it would be easier to return. When we returned back to the room that night we realized that the only heat came from a space heater, a towel had a nasty stain, the bed’s blanket was paper thin, the pillows were so thin that it felt like no pillow and laying on the bed was so noisy because the mattress was still wrapped in the shipping plastic cover. We weren’t able to get a restful sleep due to feeling cold, the noisy space heater and the sound of mattresses’ shipping plastic making noise.
