Reasonable budget stay in Sant’Agnello

Stayed for 2 nights, staff were friendly and sorted issues quickly. The included breakfast was good and had an overall homely atmosphere. Downside was the air conditioning didn’t work properly and the room was quite warm.

Nice place! A 20/30min away from Sorrento itself but the walk was easy enough. Nice staff, comfy bed, nice free brekkie.

Great location and pool, room comfort was lacking

The pool and the location of Porto Salvo were the highlights. It is walking distance to Sorrento but much quieter and calmer. We were dissapointed in the AC, it barely worked and couldn't cool off the room. The room was also much smaller than pictured. If you do stay we cannot reccomend highly enough renting a vespa from the gentleman who works at the hotel. He had by far the best prices and the vespa was excellent. He was very helpful and great to deal with.

This property was perfect for the location of where it is and being on a budget. Very nice friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. Only thing is the doors to the rooms are very difficult to open and some bugs in the bathroom, and also no elevator.

Great location. Beautiful Terrace overlooking the Sea just steps away. Quiet area but 25min walk to busy Sorrento city center. Private parking on site with gate for a 10Euro per day fee. Decent breakfast and rooms were clean and spacious.

The property is a bit hidden. Calling in advance for instructions on how to get there is mandatory. The front desk will gladly assist you with any request. The breakfast is quite good, and the caffé delicious. We had a lovely stay!

Very nice hosts and the property is located in a quiet spot of Sorrento. It’s a clean simple place to stay at if you don’t plan spending much time at the hotel other than sleeping. Confirm with the property whether you are getting a room with the bathroom inside the room or is it across the hall.

The property is run Down and unsafe, no elevador, gate is locked, they insulted me and scream at me, dirty with broken glasses on the Windows and they are busy re tu g scooters and ignore cliente, nedless to say , i did not stay, they could not even find my reservation. This place is not worthy to be in expedía, took 30 minutes to open the door, if you check in late : Dear Guest Thank you for choosing Porto Salvo for your stay in Sant'Agnello! Check-in is allowed until 20.00. After this time, is a extra check-in by appointment. THE COST OF LATE CHECK IN IS 20 EURO AFTER 08.00 pm AND 50 euros AFTER midnight. Please let US know by calling the number you find on the reservation, the exact arrival on the day of your arrival, thanks Best regards Stay away from this place, is unsafe and they insulted me so I left.
This is the entrance, takes long time to open and the reception is filty, not even 1 star hotel. Nocked at the gate for 10 minutes and did not open , rango the bell and spoke thru the camera and after 30 they oponed the door.
Broken glass windows, a rin Down place, scooter and car rental place.
Bad condition, their pictures in expedia are touched up but does not look as they show in their pictures

No pool but still nice

All was okay, except for the fact that the pool was out of order. It didn't seem to have been used for several months. In the hotel information the pool is mentioned as nice pool-area and that is why we chose this hotel in front of several others in the same price class. The view from our room was impressive though! All taken into calculation, we were pleased anyhow. The staff was nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was okay. The view over the sea was fantastic.

Great value for the money!!!!

Great value for the money! Great service and nice with the small pool even if it’s not super special. Area expensive so if looking for a cheap hotel to be qble to spen money on more fun things than a room this is it. Basic hotel, and not very sound isolated but charming building (old monastery). Good AC and clean. Again, great value for the money.

Porto Salvo is a quaint B&B by the water in San Angelo…about a 25 minute walk from downtown Sorrento. The building is older and the bedroom was dated, however the bathrooms have been updated. Would have been nice to get fresh towels halfway through our 4 night stay. The room did have a musty smell but was fine after we aired it out. The breakfast is a substantial continental. There are lovely restaurants, bars, and a beach club very close by.

The walk to downtown took about 25 minutes, which was fine with my family, but it was a little out of the way. That said, it peaceful and in a very pretty nook of a neighborhood. The property is an old convent, which is super cool, but it does require a bit of exterior maintenance. The family room was very spacious and peaceful, though. The pool was a huge bonus.

An old large house was turned into a hotel by separting rooms using thin walls. The main consequence was that we heard the snoring and bathroom noises from two different neighbors. Breakfast was good but we left after one night looking for a place to sleep decently.

This place is bare bones. The rooms are outdated and old. The first night we had no hot water and as a bonus the electricity in the area went out. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The best brewed coffee I’ve ever had. The hotel was expensive and did not live up to my expectations.

Some of these comments are unfair. If you want to stay in an authentic rustic converted nunnary with history, then this is the place for you. Live like an Italian with a nice family, and then there is my little friend Luna the doggie. Location, excellent, right by the coast, short walk west to Sorrento, walk east to Villa Fondi, just walk, so much to see and surrounded by nice restaurants. Had to get up at 4:30am and drive back to Napoli, so a coffee vending machine would have been good, started to lag when driving :) Peace and Love
