"We had a very lovely 3-night stay at Augustana House April 18-21. The receptionist was fantastic and showed us two rooms to choose from, one having a balcony that overlooked the river. Although the street adjacent to the river is noisy with traffic you could not hear it when the balcony door was closed. The balcony was a nice feature for the room. "Perfect location! We walked to every historical site with ease and the Pantheon was always an easy landmark to find our way back after a busy day. The staff was very helpful and the included breakfast at a local cafe was a nice bonus. The room and bathroom weren’t exceptionally clean, but we were so exhausted by the end of the day and they are minimally staffed that it wasn’t worth pointing these oversights out. Overall, very happy with our stay."

"Stay had several issues. The room was very hot and the fan did little to cool it down. Despite having all windows open and the temperature outside being quite cool, the room stayed hot most the time. In addition there were bugs in the room and we left with several mosquito bites each night. Also, on the day we requested the room be made up, the dirty towels were left and not replaced.
