Loved the hotel. The location is across from the Tiber River, very close to a walking bridge into Vatican City. The room was great, breakfast was fine, everything except no eggs, but lovely bakery products and yogurt. The staff were all wonderful. One of our favourite hotels ever.

Perfect location in Rome to stay, central to all major historical sites. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. There are numerous restaurants located close to the Hotel for lunch or dinner. The hotel has the best staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with freshly made pastries, eggs, meats, cheese and fruit. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

The only place to stay so central to all major tourist attractions I walked everywhere the furthest distance took 45 minutes. The Hotel was so quiet and spotlessly clean. Excellent staff, very helpful. Bathroom shower drain backs up so you need to take a quick shower. Otherwise a good location to walk to most everything.

I can't say enough for Augustana House! It was outstanding--from the staff (welcoming, friendly, most helpful), to the location (a 15-20 minute walk from many/most attractions and away from the crowds), to the cleanliness, condition and comfort of the room (the bed and shower were excellent and the bedding and towels were upscale). The breakfast buffet was very good with eggs, cereal, breads, meats and cheeses, fruit and various pasteries. This was the best hotel I've had in Rome when on a personal trip and it's a very good value. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Very well maintained and clean property with a friendly and accommodating staff. The neighborhood was quiet but completely walkable to Vatican, Trastevere and the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and Pantheon. They also have a cool, old fashioned elevator. Highly recommend.

This was a fun little property conveniently located in Rome. This was one of the only hotels where we did taxi to and from the train station, but otherwise, we walked almost everywhere from the Trevi Fountain to the Vatican, to the Colosseum, to Trastevere. The room was nice and clean. The only downside we experienced was our room was right next to the front door and the desk, and that meant a lot of noise as people checked in and out.
