"The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered). "A little oasis on an island that is already so beautiful on itself. Via a lush garden with all the flowers you could possibly spot on the island, we arrived in our home for a week. It fitted our family of 4 perfectly. We were welcomed with delicious home made breads and pastries, which we also enjoyed during breakfast in the "chapel". Helena spoiled us every time with fresh juices, home made marmelades, cinnamon rolls... The pool and jacuzzi are just amazing and perfect to relax in between many...

"The check in host was not the most informative or friendly welcoming, but was fine. That could be improved. I arrived in evening, I didn’t use the pools or eat at the restaurant. The room itself was basic, clean enough. Good value for what you get."

"Definitely consider this hotel! Solo traveler who liked the small 'apartment' style room I booked. One room was a kitchenette with table/tv/sofa and another was the bedroom with attached bath. I could cook or microwave food and store items in the refrigerator. The Hotel seemed relatively new or newly-renovated. Breakfast was provided and it was well staffed and offered a range of food and drink options. Nice location just a few blocks from the center of Ponta Delgada and a view of the Atlantic...

"The blue penthouse was outstanding. The daily cleaning and breakfast were amazing perks. Access to the beach was a real plus. Morning adventures and afternoon by the beach made an amazing holiday. The property thinks of everything beach towels concierge services."
