"We did enjoy the fireplace one cooler evening. Also enjoyed pizza and a drink in the bar which had a friendly atmosphere. Loved the old fashioned feel of the place. The location was the best! So close to the Santa Fe Plaza and lots of food, shopping, museums and other attractions. You also have access to the other hotels affiliated with Hotel Chimayo, so bring your swimsuit! "

"The property was clean outside and inside. The advertisement for hotels to stay was what attracted me. Exactly what was in the photograph is what was in real live. They a restaurant bar that very quaint which is really very relaxing at breakfast and evening."

"The room that we were given was in the worst location on property. We had a room which had an outside door entry facing a busy road and garbage truck route. We believe we were given this room because we booked on Expedia. Had we booked directly thru the Inn they offered a complimentary drink in the bar and stated they would match any price we were given. We stayed with Expedia and this is what we got. The property, room and amenities were very good as was the on-site breakfast & restaurant/bar. Ear plugs were found in the vanity kit in our room. We booked weeks in advance so very sad really."

"Checked in once we saw the property and room it was time to go. The king size bed looked like it was rode hard and put away wet. Nonetheless, the staff was very accommodating and allowed us a complete refund and we were on our way to find new accommodations."
