"Great place to stay. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Great location. Would stay again. A few things to know: (1) the main pool during the day is loud - DJ’s, music, activities, etc. There is “quieter” adults only pool but you can still hear; (2) I only ate at the buffet, not at any of the restaurants. The food was not great but plentiful and no lines. The food at the pizza place and snack bar at the pool was also just fair; (3) nice beach but can’t swim in the ocean- too rough; and (4) I hear you get a better experience if you are a “member,” but there really no sales pitches to become a member. Despite the above, would recommend, unless you are a foodie looking for 5 star dining."

"We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Marquis and it was fantastic. The accommodations were wonderful we had a garden casita and it was very spacious, our bed was super comfortable and the private pool was so relaxing and enjoyable. The staff here are amazing, never once did we have to wait to get another drink and a lot of staff knew us by name right away. Everything we needed to communicate to the hospitality desk was handled quickly as far as requests and they were very helpful with reservations for dinner and excursions etc. We used the spa amenities daily and both of our massages were some of the best we’ve had! Aleck front desk staff in the spa was great, he got to know us right away and always made sure we had fresh drinks delivered while we enjoyed the hot tubs and relaxation deck. The infinity pools were beautiful and pool loungers were super comfortable. We loved that you can stare at the ocean for the most part no matter where you sit. We ate at all the restaurants including the special 6 course wine pairing and didn’t have any complaints. Delicious food and thoughtful service always. Although this was mostly a relaxing vacation on the resort for us we love that downtown Cabo is only 25 min away so it would have been very easy to leave the resort and explore the city. The relaxing atmosphere, the gorgeous views and aesthetic made us so sad to have to leave. We will definitely be back! "

"This property was beautiful, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the beach was not swimable due to tides. I am uncertain if that was temporary or a constant occurrence. A bottle of water cost 15 dollars at the main restaurant in the hotel. Imagine the price for all other menu items, very overpriced. Overall, it was a decent experience."
