"My family of 4 absolutely loved this property. One of the most unique places we have stayed. The craftsmanship of the boutique bungalows is excellent. High ceilings and very well appointed "A-Frame" individual rooms. The owner and staff are very friendly. After 3 days we felt like family. We loved the morning breakfast. Tina the Chef helped prepare fresh fruit, french toast, scrambled eggs every morning. She even made Pico De Gallo for me at my request! "Willie" the concierge/host was the best. He had great advice for all our trips, and helped book a couple of restaurants for us, and a zip-line trip. The owner "Shaq" is very friendly and also advises on trips and things to see. It was fun to learn the history of the property from him and history of the Santa Teresa. I've been vacationing regularly in Costa Rica since 1998 just to give perspective. We hope to be back. "

"The service at Fuego Lodge is second to none. The pool area is beautiful We watched a highway train of monkeys cross the roofs one evening. Download WhatsApp if you haven't already. You may need it. Will definitely consider staying there again!"

"We loved Casa Cecilia! The staff are all amazing. Natalia and Annabel were always ready to help with anything! The kitchen, cleaning and security staff were also extremely friendly. The location on the beach was fabulous and its proximity to Rocomar for drinks and lunch is perfect. We loved hanging out and chilling at Casa Cecilia. We spent five nights and were so relaxed by the end of the trip. The ambiance “makes” you wind down and relax. The rooms are a little tired, but very clean with great air conditioning. If you want fancy, Casa Cecilia is not your place. If you want a good value, friendly staff, a super location and yummy breakfasts, Casa Cecilia is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to go back! "

"Bungalow was absolutely perfect for me! Lucia took good care of me and maintained communication from start to finish. Also, the cleaning person was friendly and trustworthy. If you don't handle noise easily, then Buena Onda is not the place for you as you do hear the traffic passing though on the road right outside of the property. I got used to it and did not find it to be much of an issue. It is a great location and I would absolutely stay there again as one can easily walk into town. There are great restaurant's close by. "About a mile walk down the gravel road before you hit pavement so a little dusty but that is not a big deal for the luxury of this property. And it's a easy walk"
