We loved our stay at Donna Carmela, beautiful boutique hotel, no expense has been spared in making it as nice as possible. Staff were charming, and the off season prices were very reasonable. That part of Sicily is very built up but the hotel is an oasis of peace.

Privacy and delightedness are a must in this wonderful hotel. I also highlight the design of the Spa and swimming pool, the rooms and of course the restaurant. Last but not the least, a very kind and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was good although our shower was quite dated/small. Hotel and staff were very good as was the food.

Our family of two adults and two small children stayed in apartment five which has two bedrooms and a large terrace so perfect for families. Everything was clean and functional, staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel restaurant was great with daily specials. The breakfast included within our rate was buffet style and there was plenty on offer. We asked for some advice on the right way to visit Etna and were provided with an abundance of tips, maps and guidance. There appears to be some...

We have stayed in 5* hotels worldwide. However I need to admit, this little hotel exceeded our expectations. The service from the start to the end was pure class. Before arriving at the hotel, I emailed regarding airport transfer and it was arranged within minutes. I also asked for an iron, and the iron was placed in our room before our arrival. My husband had a wonderful massage with Jacqueline. Absolutely first class. And I needed to do my hair for a wedding we were attending, however the...

Beautiful hotel, very modern, very clean. Comfy beds, beautiful pool. Breakfast very nice selection of hot and cold food. Staff and service exceptional. Price reasonable. Only downside is expensive drinks from poolside bar.

I didn’t want to leave! This is a beautiful hotel with what feels like botanical gardens, an amazing pool and right on the beach with Etna always visible. The staff are all super friendly from reception, to the pool bar to the wine bar, and can help to book taxis. The pool and main restaurant served great food and if you want a cheaper meal there is a local restaurant next door on the beach. It is quite remote if you don’t have a car so ensure to book taxis early as they are pricey. We walked...

Superb room in immaculate condition, staff were really friendly and helpful. A superb place to stay.

These Apartments are immaculate and in an excellent and convenient location. We upgraded to an apartment with a view of the town and sea which was a great sun trap to enjoy breakfast! No need to take anything with you as all basics are provided eg towels, hairdryer, toiletries, tea towels etc. Valet parking available at extra charge - a must if you have a car as parking spaces few and far between. Parking is off site so 10 mins notice required to retrieve vehicle. Can't wait to return-...

Stayed here for 4 nights with friends. Drove past the entrance on arrival and had to take a detour to get back to it but once we arrived what a lovely surprise. The hotel staff are lovely. Our rooms both had French doors that led out onto the garden which was a nice place to gather and have a drink in the evening. The hotel is situated next to a busy road and railway line but we did not notice any excessive noise. We ate in the restaurant a couple nights and would also recommend this. The...

Very clean and friendly staff. The staff are always eager to help you.

The hotel is small but well run. Very friendly staff and it is right in the middle of the town. Very convenient. We used their garage. Lovely fun staff running breakfast and if having a cooked breakfast it turned up almost immediately. It does not feel like the normal tourist hotel. Loved it
