The location in the historic district of Santiago de Campostela was perfect for exploring the area. The staff was so helpful in suggesting activities and dining options. They brought my luggage up to my room and back down, scheduled a taxi for me to get to the train station when I left, and were so kind to me. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice guest rooms in a charming 14th? Century building in old town, only steps from the end point of camino de santiago. Staff was extremely helpful - did our laundry after we finished the camino (for free) and arranged taxis for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

Unbeatable location

We had a perfect one night stay at Casa da Balconada. The location couldn't be better, the room was ideal, and Jose was the best host, dealing with every request quickly and helpfully. Highly recommended!

Hotel after Walking 809 km

The owner went out of his way to offer helpful information about restaurants and directions. He also carried my bag to room! And when I stopped in briefly and sat in the lobby, he offered me cold waters! The room was cozy, luxurious, and clean. I highly recommend this centrally located hotel.

Loved staying here. After the Camino, this was the perfect place to have a bit of space to myself. Perfectly located in the heart of everything. Would stay here again next time I’m back in Santiago! Check in was convenient and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. They were super helpful is arranging a taxi to get to the airport as well.

This property is within 5 minutes of the Cathedral and plaza! Close and convenient to food, historical sites, and laundry. The staff were very kind and helpful and they had the most comfortable beds we had slept in across Spain! The one warning I would give is that like most European hotels, there is not an elevator. Fantastic location!!

The Casa da Balconada is a cute, boutique-like small hotel. Everything is clean to the detail, and the rooms are beautifully set. I had a room with a balcony, and great views of the cathedral. The staff is polite and supportive. Perfect for staying in a peaceful environment and, at the same time, very convenient to explore restaurants, historic places, religious monuments.

This place was a phenomenal end to our Camino journey! Just steps from the catedral. The host, Christina, was so helpful throughout our stay (she helped us bring up our suitcases, gave us great recommendations, and organized two early morning taxis for us, etc.). My dad and I loved every part of this stay and would absolutely come back.

Great location but LOUD

This is a great location however, if you have a room facing the street be prepared for loud revelers until early morning! The spiral staircase to access the rooms is very difficult to get luggage up and down. The staff was very helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property, the staff were so kind and very helpful. The property is situated in the old town, very near the cathedral. The room was pretty with a balcony and lots of nice little touches like chargers and a bedside lamp and a good shower. The streets outside can be noisy at night, but that didn't bother me is I am a heavy sleeper, but if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.
