"One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...

"I absolutely love this hotel. They need a branch in Lima. Why do I love it? Each floor has a living area so you aren’t “stuck” in your bedroom but also not in a lobby where you are exposed to people coming and going. There is a kitchen you have access to so we could warm our left overs and keep it refrigerated. The staff is sooooo considerate!!! It’s the only hotel we have been to where they packaged our breakfast for us to go because we were leaving 4am. This was 3hrs before the actual breakfast time. This warmed my heart. They gave us 2 sandwiches each and 4 different fruits plus sweets. They also kept our suitcases so we could go to Machu Picchu and return for them. The decor is warm and cozy but modern. I LOVE THIS HOTEL. And I wish I could stay there every time I visit Peru."

"One of the best Hilton properties we have stayed: well maintained with very kind and caring staff. We ordered in-room dining on two occasions and the food was simply outstanding and the service thoughtful and timely. The breakfast buffet spread was eclectic and delectable and again made extra special by some of the kindest staff. We stayed at 7 different hotels during our 3 week trip across South America and this one was clearly the best. The location is of course outstanding , set in a picturesque backdrop of mountains with a beautiful courtyard where you can sit and relax while sipping on coffee or even better, the local drink Chicha morada. We arrived at Cusco after a series of overnight delays and flight diversions which left us totally sapped. This hotel gave us exactly what we needed: a calm, welcoming and relaxing place to rest, recharge and rejuvenate and get ourselves acclimated to high altitude. What also stood out to me is how well the hotel staff treated us with kindness and respect. I will give this hotel 10 out of 5 stars if I can !"
