Today, it offers guests a unique opportunity to step back in time while enjoying historic rooms equipped with modern conveniences. Dining in the restaurant — located in the original dungeon — was a highlight. The food was excellent and moderately priced, adding to the overall value of the stay. The castle is conveniently located about 20 minutes outside of Salamanca, making it an ideal retreat while still accessible to the city. The only drawback is accessibility. Due to the historic nature of the castle, there are numerous stairs, which may present challenges for guests with limited mobility. Overall, expect to relax, explore, and fully enjoy the many unique rooms and spaces throughout this remarkable property."

"A lovely hotel with friendly staff, great food and a comfortable lounge area. Some of the areas are a little tired and could do with updating but the rooms were clean and comfortable. We were there in transit as part of a longer journey. It was well located and exactly what we needed."

"Friendly staff. Breakfast is a buffet for 10€/person. Important. There's no Metro in Salamanca and no bus arrives directly in front of the hotel. Taking a taxi is a must in Salamanca and it is about 8€ from the train station to the hotel."
