Pros: Beautiful hotel. Amazing, friendly, generous staff. Great spa, restaurant and wine tasting. A true find!! Will definitely come back here! Only small con: rooms not soundproof (had kids above us) and could use more lighting (a little dark)

We made this selection last minute for our final night in Spain and it was fabulous. Our only regret is that we could not have stayed longer. The property is beautiful and rich with history. The setting is so tranquil and was just what we needed to decompress from a three week driving vacation through Spain, Morocco and Portugal. We will definitely be back!

THE most peaceful and relaxing hotel during a multi-location trip. Stunning, historic and interesting.All the staff were so very welcomng and helpful. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. My room was quite basic, not particularly luxurious but authentic to the overall design. I'd recommend the balcony rooms with the loungers, particularly special and romantic IMO. Room 5. The pools are small, shallow and cold. Ideal for a quick cool down, but not for a good swim. More aesthetically pleasing than practical. The restaurant is delightful, with a good variety of dishes. Although I would have liked a couple of really traditional options to try and t We both thought that the portion sizes were a little on the small size. Ask for a table overlooking the river when booking. The prices were reasonable for a captured audience. If the We felt that there was a shortage of bar staff, particularly as it is a 5* property, and being fully booked the service was a little slow, however Rowena and Ellie were exceptionally hard working and extremely courteous (lovely people). I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel and would return if I was in the area again.

We spent a lovely tranquil weekend at Zorita. Staff was super nice, the place has an interesting history. Wine tasting was a nice touch, breakfast was also good! Rooms are big and spacious. The bed and pillows a bit soft for my liking but thats a personal thing. We went during winter, would like to see it in the summer ;)

Not five stars.

The surroundings are wonderful! However the hotel is a bit warn down. Some tiles on the terazze and in the spa was loose. A bit dirty in/on the windows in the restaurant. There are NO pools on the estate. It is small places with water which only goes up to under your knees. The spa can only be booked on beforehand and it holds maximum two people. The use is therefore limited. However the winetour was extremely good.

Not worth the money, stay somewhere else

They told us the pool did not open until June 10 despite it being June 1st and that this was a thing in Spain. My husband and I both used to live in Spain and knew this was a lie. It was a hotter week than usual well over 85-90F degrees during the day. If the pool isn’t open then there is no where to lounge if you room does not have a patio. Only other outdoor seating is table seating outside by the bar. Seems to cater to more weddings then hotel guest experience. The food was good but we stayed at other hotels in Spain at comprable prices on the trip that were way better. I would give the restaurant a 6/10. Seems like it used to be a nice place and has had kinda gone down hill a little.
