"It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of chueca. Quick walk to all areas of interest. The staff is lovely. The breakfast is lovely. I got to the hotel very early in the morning and they allowed me an early check in. Considering I was up all night on a flight that meant the world to me. My only critique is that our original room was extremely small and had no windows to outside. We ended up paying more than a $100 per night to get a bigger room with a balcony with a street view. "Not quite what you would expect at a Nobu property. I may be wrong to compare it to Dubai but brand standards are minimal expectation. There was a bottle cap (shampoo or sunscreen or something cap) under the sink for the whole 4 nights we were there. Check in staff were cold. Downstairs bar/resto staff were not interested in the customers. The bell men/porters were the most attentive and friendly in the experience. Their restaurant had 1 Asian lady that was super friendly and attentive....

"We paid a small amount to be upgraded to a small but stunning room with a direct view of Sagrada Familia. The room was clean, there were lots of toiletries provided. Check-in was easy. And then there's the rooftop. Went up early without a reservation but as a hotel guest they were able to accommodate us. We had an amazing seat, shaded and spacious, my eggs/ drinks were good. Such a memorable breakfast. 12 o'clock checkout and bag storage were added perks."

"Excellent Welcome, friendly and accommodating staff, the breakfast buffet was great. All the things you expect from Hyatt. The downside, and quite impact full, was the lack of venues and challenges with AC. Only 1 restaurant was open, the smallest one near the lobby. Limited seating, for a full hotel not ideal. I had complained about my AC not working (room temp was 27°) and they expeditiously tried to fix it. Short term solution. I woke up to a room temp of 29°. I would book there again...

"The double bed was more spacious than expected! The front desk staff seemed annoyed and weren’t super helpful with the locks, which are hard to open and make a lot of noise all night. The showers were full of hair and mold too unfortunately. Many hallways smelled like sewage. But the air conditioning was nice in the main sleeping room. The location was fabulous and close to grand via and Malasaña shops. Worth it for location and travel on a budget but don’t expect to feel super clean!"
