"I have to say, after staying in some very luxurious places in Italy, the best air-conditioning and the best water pressure for a shower were at Hotel Franchi. My family and I joked about this, as it was really true! There is a lovely garden where we enjoyed a take-out lunch. "If you are looking for a place to stay close to Florence this is it! My party and I did not have a bad thing to say about this place. The room was amazing. The property was gorgeous with a really nice pool to lounge by to help keep you cool, and the breakfasts were so delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. It is also less than a 10 min drive to two train stations to easily get to Florence."

"The decor appeared to have been updated fairly recently. It was very clean. The bed beds were nice and comfortable. I can’t comment on breakfast as we left very early for the airport, which was only five minutes away. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lidl and several small restaurants nearby to grab food and snacks before flying out."
