We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. "Run away from the "KIng William" room 109 and Expedia. The shower controls were not working. The on/off control was not working so as you turned it, it went from off to trickle to off and anywhere in between. The hot cold went from cold to maybe warm, to off to trickle. What the heck. The second night I was allowed to go to room 106 so that I could take a better shower... newer controls but no hot water at all. On to room 105 with a working shower. If we had booked the place ourselves,...

"A classic country pub with new upmarket bedrooms that impressed. The breakfast in the bar was good although my brown toast was dry and burnt. For the money it is good value and the bedrooms are the best aspect. "

"Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "

"Excellent stay. Staff were superb along with the food and drink on offer. Maybe some healthier options would be a suggestion, plus the heating was constantly on full through the building. Money saving opportunity here. Definitely recommend."
