"Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. "propre mais très désuet. Manque d'entretien à tous les niveaux, nous n'avons pas utilisez la piscine(pas chauffée) et les spas mais aucune serviette à disposition pour ceux-ci. Emplacement quand même isolée et tranquille. Le personnel est très gentil. Le buffet bon mais pas wow, pas beaucoup de choix. Les quantités ne sont pas très grande non plus. Wifi disponible et de bonne qualité"

Das Frühstück war zwar jeden Tag gleich, aber da ich oft schon vor dem Frühstück zu meinen Touren aufgebrochen bin, hat mich das überhaupt nicht gestört. Sauna und Schwimmbad habe ich nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. "Centrally located in town. Tons of restaurants and bars to pick from. Great hotel overall. Only disadvantage is parking is either on street or in a parking garage requiring you to bring your luggage too and from where you park."

"Wir sind zufrieden. Tatsächlich haben wir nur geschlafen und gefrühstückt im Hotel. Pool oder andere Aktivitäten haben im Hotel nicht besucht. Vom frühstück waren wir nicht so sehr begeistert, jeden Tag wurde das selbe angeboten und die Auswahl war jetzt auch nicht so groß. Wir hatten noch ein kleines Problem mit der Klima und das wurde innerhalb vom 30 min gelöst. Alle waren super freundlichen hilfreich."

"Lovely location and room sea view was spectacular over the rock pools which were lovely to swim in. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a packed breakfast/lunch when we had to head out early on tours. The roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely to relax in at the end of a packed day. Only downside is the infrequent public transport to Funchal so you will need to catch Bolts so end up pricey.
