We had a great stay at La bayardine. Our studio was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities anyone could need. Breakfast was great and came along with suggestions of what we could do in the area. Great location with beautiful views and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. Thank you Frank and Nelly. A' bientot. John and Sue.

What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Excellent and friendly hosts, great place, great location! Would hope to return and certainly recommend it to others. Breakfast was excellent too!

Perfectly placed hotel in the middle of a lovely town. Clean, great staff, good beer, pool table and great bacon at breakfast. Will be back soon!

We stayed in an apartment with a terrace area overlooking the street. It was a beautiful location and the accommodation was lovely. The kitchen and bathroom were slightly dated but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of town, helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, great breakfast.

What a beautiful place to stay, in the most gorgeous little town. One of the highlights of our three week European roadtrip. Lovely room, central location, helpful info from managers. All in all a little gem!

Amazing. Fabulous property, great facilities including pool. Lots of parking. Excellent customer service from the get-go. On site restaurant was absolutely outstanding. Food amazing and service could not be faulted. Great breakfast too! If satnav takes you to narrow white gate, it’s difficult entry angle. Keep going round the hotel to wider gate and easier access round other side! Reception is at the back of hotel.

Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat.

Good hotel we had a room upstairs in the annex. Fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Good bathroom. Lovely setting excellent pool and grounds and very kind hosts. 10 mins walk down to salat main centre . Breakfast was good overall excellent value.

Top notch hotel. I recommend hands down

Excellent location! Very welcoming with great staff. Pool area was great. Overall 10 out of 10 from us!

Excellent place and Angel the owner a lovely helpful man

it was exceptionally good. The hotel was really lovelu, historic and interesting in its make up. We were in the room in the battlements, it was roomy and the bathroom absolutly first class, the fact that it was at the top of the building was hard work for us as we are bothh over eighty, and the lift only took us halfway up, but well worth the effort. The food was very good and we ate at the hotel for the three nights that we were in Sarlat and the staff treated us really well, our efforts to...

Hotels.com let me book the hotel at 20:00 even though the reception closed at 19:30 after nearly an hour I managed to communicate with someone who came out to book me in the lady was fantastic she didn’t speak English but we got booked in Hotel.com virtual help was useless and disappointing thank you Hôtel Albizia great service

Stayed here before, five or six years ago, and chose it again because it has parking outside or garage parking for 13eu a night. No restaurant, but that is not a problem as so many good place to eat in the town. Staff very friendly and always there to help. Would recommend to anyone as standard is absolutely excellent.
