Staying in 4 star hotel in sarlat.

Weather was cool.the location was excellent. But these hotels should not be 4 star it should be 2 and 1/5 The noise was 2 much. The bed was disaster. We couldn't sleep comfortably. The tv power was on all night that makes room shine. They should have the tv that power should be under the tv not a side.

The Grand..not so

We booked the Grand Hotel as its facilities included a health suite including a pool,sauna & jacuzzi to relax in after a 4hr drive,however upon arrival we were told that the Jacuzzi was unavailable. I also requested a bath in the bathroom which was ignored as we were placed in a room with only a shower.. 3rd minor whinge was the fact the double bed was made up of 2 single mattresses which inevitably during the night parted. And finally due to these discrepancies, i asked for a complimentary breakfast or even a price reduction on the €16 pp cost,which was dismissed as i made my booking through Hotels.com..whatever that meant..

Hotel con habitaciones obsoletas, la limpieza nefasta (debajo de las camas y esquinas tela), el solarium es de tierra pero la ubicación es magnifica, tiene horario de piscina muy amplio y es semicerrada. No considero que merezca tener 4* salvo por su ubicación y piscina. El jacuzzi no estaba operativo, la sauna no fui. La ubicación de 10 y la piscina muy bien. No repetiría en ese hotel basándome en calidad precio. No encuetro donde poner fotos.

Un bon hôtel

Nous sommes restés 4 nuitees. L'Accueil de l'hôtel était très sympathique, et le personnel du ménage également. Nous avons apprécié que le personnel vérifiait que nous séjournions bien dans l'hôtel quand nous y entrions : sécurité top. La chambre était agréable, mais nous avons dû résoudre un problème de lumière, car il n'y a aucune lampe au plafond. Nous avons dû deviner qu'il fallait tourner les lampes de chevet en l'air pour être correctement éclairés, et avons réclamé une lampe pour le coin micro, qui nous a été promptement fournie. La salle de bain était très propre. Les peignoirs de bain et petits chaussons fournis par l'hôtel étaient appréciables pour aller à la piscine, chauffée à 26° (elle parait cependant plus fraiche si le soleil n'a pas chauffé longuement le toit ouvrant). Malheureusement, le jaccuzzi était en panne pour plusieurs semaines, nous a-t-on dit. Nous aurions peut-être dû demander un petit dédommagement car ces équipements avaient fait la différence pour notre choix. Les petits-déjeuners étaient bons et avec du choix. En tournant un peu, nous sommes toujours arrivés à trouver de la place non payante sur l'avenue où est situé l'hôtel. Il y a une crêperie hollandaise sympathique dans une rue adjacente, et les commerces et restaurants de Sarlat sont à 5 mn à pied.

Week-end à sarlat

L’accueil de l’hôtel est parfait et efficace. Son organisation est bien détaillée ainsi que pour le stationnement de votre véhicule. La chambre avec terrasse est très confortable et il est agréable que celle-ci soit équipée de peignoirs et chaussons. L’accès au spa es t facile de 7h à 23h. Un bémol tout de même, la température de l’eau de la piscine ne demande qu’à être chaude, de même pour le jacuzzi qui affiche 33c•, trop froid pour profiter pleinement et se détendre. L’hôtel est très calme. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité pour un tarif raisonnable. L’hôtel propose une sélection de restaurants à proximité pour notre confort. Séjour pour le nouvel an. L'hôtel est correct. Un peu déçu par le ménage. Que les draps ne soient pas changés cela ne me dérange aucunement, seulement un coup d'aspirateur ne ferait pas de mal... L'accueil était très agréable. Dommage pour la piscine endommagée, nous avions choisi l'hôtel en partie pour cela. Un petit geste commercial n'aurait pas été de trop.

Situation pratique et belles prestations

Bel hotel bien rénové a qq pas du coeur de Sarlat. Et une jolie piscine semi couverte qui fait toute la différence et qui permet de se reposer entre 2 repas. Tres sympathique d'autant qu'a defaut de parking on peut laisser sa voiture dans la rue sans parcmetre !

Loin des étoiles affichées !

Séjour de 3 nuits, je reste sur ma faim. Un 4 étoile ? J aurais plutôt donner 2 étoile. Nettoyage des chambre moyen , ils prenne serviette suspendu et ne remettent pas d autre du coup 2 serviette pour 3. Peti dej a 16€ qui est excessif sauf si vous venez les premiers. Nous étant en week-end court nous prenions notre petit dej à 9h30 et avions moins de choix, il ne prévois pas un choix égale au premier et au dernier. Point positif l’emplacement à proximité du centre historique. Prix élever par rapport au service que l’on pouvais attendre
