"Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean and newly done. The property was beautiful, but rundown. It was out in the country"

"Very friendly staff and a warm welcome for us and our bikes on arrival and we appreciated the option of having dinner on site as it was pouring rain. The dinner was excellent and tasty even though not cooked on the premises. We appreciated the use of the kettle downstairs in the lobby but would have like one in the room. The ambience of the Excellent Evening meal in rear courtyard was somewhat spoilt by noisy children in adjoining garden using a swimming pool( understandable in thus heat ?) Despite a fan being provided, temperature in room was quite uncomfortable. It really needed aircon because Opening window made traffic noise a problem. Breakfast...

"Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador! Pool really good. Not much to do in the village but plenty nearby."
