"Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel zur Post und waren rundum zufrieden. Freundliche Begrüßung, unkompliziertes Einchecken! Personal durchweg sehr freundlich.
Unser Zimmer war groß und hell (wir hatten ein Eckzimmer mit zwei Fenstern). Zimmer und Bad (ebenfalls mit Fenster => hell, gut durchlüftet!) waren sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Fenster konnten nachts offenstehen, es war sehr ruhig draußen.

"When we arrived the hotel was closed. it seeems to be in very deep works for a renovation. No bell ringing at the entrance door. We had to phone. A little bit complicated for foreign people. Happily , Neighbours have help us in our phone call.
When we were inside all was satisfying. Just a bit of angst when you arrive, and that nothing seems to work as you aspected."

Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot.
Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it.
Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."
"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...
"Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules.
But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...
