We loved the booklet in the room which included staff recommendations for restaurants and sites; that was a nice personal touch. Breakfast was excellent. "This was a getaway that was planned for seeing Cooperstown and all that the little town had to offer. The August Lodge is amazing and made this trip so much more than we could ever ask for. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home every day. The views were spectacular and we spent our evenings on our patio watching the eagles soar around the mountains. Thank you August staff for making our birthday, anniversary and Mother’s Day vacation a lifetime of great memories."
