"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"Les gens de l accueil sont vraiment gentils et donnent des infos sur le secteur au besoin. Et cherche à vous aider. La chambre est simple et lumineuse. Ça fait petit cocon. La salle de bain à tout ce qu il faut. Et c’est joli et lumineux avec ce plafond reflechissant. J aurai pris un verre au bord de la piscine si le temps l’avait permis. ;)"

"I travelled with my family, including 2 kids, around France. This was my son's favorite hotel out of the 3. It was great having a separate room/space for the kids. Hotel was clean and cozy, even during the summer. My son loved the lobby and giant chess board. I loved the balcony overlooking the river and mountain view. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. "Really beautiful hotel, right in the centre of Chamonix and perfect for exploring. The rooms comfortably fit a family of 4 including a cot. The pool and spa area was lovely, and I imagine would be especially fun during the winter months. Wish we had been able to stay another night. "
