Gave us instructions on parking ahead of time. They also gave us the best food recommendations - the pasta right across from our place was the best we had during our trip. "Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."

"We had a beautiful suite with a wonderfully comfortable mattress, and couch. There was a direct and great view of the beach, located in the historic part of the city. the staff was accommodating, and made you feel like family. The included breakfast was acceptable. My one suggestion for improvement would be to have counter space for toiletries and storage space for unpacking your suitcase. Otherwise near perfection."

Bar that operates late into night is directly below room but noise was minimized by door/windows. Can easily hear staff talking loudly in the office below the room in the morning, which was a little disruptive. "
