"Nice place, well maintained and kind stuff. Only small issue is that we were sleeping on the ground floor and could hear the steps from the room upstairs… but I guess that’s something relatively normal in these type of hotels/B&B."
"Stayed one night .
Reception staff really helpful .
Staff in the dining area were good both in the evening dining and breakfast.
Good choice for breakfast .
Room was clean and the bathroom also.
Parking at the hotel very convenient as we used the park and ride to Norwich town centre which was located close to the hotel .
Overall very pleased with our stay ."
"Our room itself was pretty clean, but what puts you off is that, as soon as you enter the stairwell to get to the room, the stairwell was completely filthy. You could see layers of dust on it. I had read some other reviews, and I was expecting the worst, but our rooms were really well cleaned.
We stayed during a heat wave, so we found that the lack of air conditioning was a hindrance, but then they provided fans. Our room faced the carparks, and we did find quite a bit of noise. The staff are really helpful. The bathrooms were very modern, and the shower pressure was almost too strong, but that was a positive thing."
"A comfortable and very clean room. However, the room looked out on to the roof of Norwich FC and the noise of fans blasting away 24/7 was horrible. Found to difficult to sleep with the continual whirring sound.
Staff were quite helpful but a bit slow, lacked training. (Except for the cleaning brigade - they were really efficient.)
Breakfast was fine.
The bar had run out of both Spanish wines listed.
Stayed three nights but not sure that I'd go back."
"Room was clean & comfortable and the staff were excellent, very friendly. Right in the heart of Tombland next to the cathedral, restaurants and a short walk to the castle & market.
Breakfast couldn’t be faulted and was plentiful & the hotel had its own private car park.
Definitely recommend."
