Looking SE on Scratby Beach Addendum: a six metre wide strip of dunes has been scoured away by the tide waters on occasion of the unusually high surge of the North Sea along the east coast, caused by high winds, on 9th November 2007; the cliffs remained unscathed thanks to a rock berm.

Beautiful old hotel in an excellent location for the city centre! We stayed in the Surlingham junior suite and the room was big and so full of character we absolutely loved it! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we would totally recommend staying here!
