"This motel is in an excellent location to view the ships passing through Lock 7. The room is very clean and a good size. The hotel is very dated, bedding, curtains, abd furniture BUT dont let that deter you from staying here. This was our second visit and we will continue to visit yearly. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. "

"The mattress of the bed was too hard, it made difficult for us to sleep"

"Staff are rude, took 45 min for someone to come fix our tv the first night and we had to tell him to not be so rude. Second night tv didn't work again so had to wait again for it to be fixed. Would t answer the phone when we called the front desk. Holes in the wall beside where the ac is so you can hear everything from outside. Towels are toddler sized. Say they are dog friendly but they are not!! "
