"highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, close to all the city centre attractions. We just walked to all the attractions. You can find a lot of restaurants nearby.

"The hotel staff (Erica especially!) were so kind and thoughtful. It was our honeymoon and they wrote us a welcome note along with fruit and macarons. The hotel is in a great location and is very clean and modern. I would recommend getting a room on one of the upper floors for a great view of the city. "
"The guest house is very centrally located in the Ribeira area and the room was spacious, lean and the bed was comfortable. The price was a steal. The staff were very nice to deal with and breakfast was delicious. Excellent coffee. My room was on the third floor and there was no lift so got a bit of exercise in as well. I knew this was the case when I booked so was prepared for it. Because it is central and on a busy street, it is noisy but I felt the location more than made up for that. "

Location - round the corner is a bus stop (40-45 min direct bus to one of the beaches), 10 minute walk to Bolhao metro (fairly flat), 10 minute walk to Sao Bento metro (hilly), 10 minute walk to the funicular. Lots of eateries within minutes and a supermarket around the corner. Mercado de Bolhao is amazing and the shopping area around is excellent.
Room - amazingly comfortable with great bathroom and air con. Slept very well every night....
"This is definitely a hostel for community & making friends-they have tons of events & really promote that. Beds were comfortable, had curtains, and your locker/room was locked by a bracelet you got at check-in making it very convenient. Location is awesome-you are close to tons of bars/restaurants/Porto attractions, and getting to the river is a 10-15 minute walk downhill. If you want a quiet hostel, this probably is not the place for you with the guests it attracts and also being in a train...
"Had an excellent stay for 3 nights. The hotel shared lots of information before our arrival. On arrival check-in was quick and offered to guide us on our stay in Porto.
Our room was spacious, slightly unique was having two showers. Equipped with everything we really needed.
Breakfast staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, making us feel welcoming and ensuring we had everything we wanted. Mixture of breads and patisseries, cheeses, eggs how you want them.

"Très bon accueil. Disponibilité des hôtes. Logement spacieux. Proche de tout (restaurants, métro, douro, activités, location vélos ). Très bien situé dans la ville....meme trop car un peu bruyant le soir ! (Soir de match de foot européen contre 1 équipe écossaise par exemple). Sinon le ruelle doit etre tranquille en temps normal !
