"This was a great last minute find. We rented a car at the Quito airport and drove to Papallacta. The drive was beautiful and easy. The spa and hotel are amazing. We only stayed overnight, but wish we had more time there. To get the full experience, stay for at least 3 days/2 nights. One day for the spa and thermal pools and another day hiking the National Park. Check in is at 3. Check out is at 1 but you can leave your vehicle in their parking lot and hike up the mountain. So beautiful! Words...

"Absolutely recommend this property. The staff is amazing! We did a couple of the activities and love them. Definitely do the horse back riding tour! The food is delicious, the rooms are comfortable and where this property shines is on the little details- turn down service, with fireplace, chocolate and hot water bottles to keep the bed warm."

"Péssimo atendimento na recepção do Hotel! Inclusive a moça que se encontrava no dia de nosso check-in foi extremamente ríspida e nada amigável. Acredito que se melhorar o atendimento possa ser que seja uma boa opção de hospedagem, caso contrário, não vale a pena… As instalações são boas, entretanto, sem as instruções adequadas vc não consegue chegar facilmente. Inclusive a atendente da recepção não nos orientou que uma das entradas ao parque não permite acesso após as 15 hrs."

"The hotel is uphill with beautiful views of the mountains. The sunset was incredible. Be aware the road is unsealed the last kilometre and you need to WhatsApp message the hotel in advance of arrive for them to open the entry gate. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though our Spanish is terrible. This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms and we had the place to ourselves.
